Welcome to Troop 419's Website! 

Troop 419 is a youth-led Troop dedicated to providing young men with the knowledge and skills they need to be prepared for life's many challenges.  Chartered in 1981 to Duluth First United Methodist Church, Troop 419 instills the principles of Scouting through high-adventure outdoor activities and achievement-centered skill building.

For Troop 419 registered members, you may access the secure sections of the website by logging in to the site.  If you are a registered member of the Troop and do not remember your User Name & Password, please click on the Login link at the top left of the page then click on the "request a new password" link.

Philmont 2021 opportunities

Due to the COVID cancellation of our 2020 trek, we now have 2 openings available for Philmont in 2021. The dates will be roughly July 2-18 based on final travel arrangements. Please contact me if your scout is interested (Must be at least 14 and 1st Class by July 2021). This is an opportunity of a lifetime. Click below for video about Philmont.

Merit Badge Pamphlets now Available!

Librarian Erik Petterson has helped to compile a collection of all merit badge pamphlets. Pamphlets include a list of the merit badge's requirements, information about the subject (including information needed for requirements) and resources that Scouts can use to help them earn the badge. You can access this collection of merit badge pamphlets by visiting the "Merit Badges" section of the website (found in the Menu sidebar) or by clicking HERE.

(PASSED) August 1 Silver Comet Cycling (Cycling Merit Badge final requirement or Second Class requirement 3b)

We will be conducting a cycling trip on August 1st. Please read ALL info below before signing up.

Primarily this trip is intended for the scouts who need their last ride for Cycling merit Badge (50 miles), but there are opportunities to do 10 mile or 25 mile segments as well. A 10 mile ride can satisfy Second Class requirement 3B. Most scouts should be capable of completing 25 miles.
